WHERE ARE WE

This is genuinely an unspoiled location full of charm and wild nature. The landscape is mountainous, covered with pine forests. The traditional village houses are scattered around the area, on fairly steep hillsides and the two bays looking at the Greek islands of Simi and Rhodes. The surrounding area has a number of other quaint villages, dramatic rock formations, unique plants, herbs, trees and flowers; not to mention completely unspoilt hidden bays and coves with aquamarine waters and very rich underwater archaeology, some only accessible by a boat. Knidos, at the very tip of the peninsula, is covered in ruins of a once prosperous port city dating back about 400BC. The whole of Peninsula is now under the environmental protection to preserve its unique qualities.

Bahce Arasi Evi

Bahce Arasi Evi-Our stone clad villa, have been built recently, in a traditional style but with all modern conveniences. It is located just outside the village; nestles among olives, almonds and carobs on 2 acres of private ground with stunning views of the coast from almost every room and balconies.

Open plan living- dining room with kitchen: open fire, wooden floors; furnished in country style with comfy armchairs, divan type sofas, table and chairs all built by local craftsman
Well –equipped kitchen (4 ring hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, juicer)
Two bathrooms (upstairs, downstairs) are colourfully tiled, with a mix of modern and traditional appeal, with shower upstairs and the bath unit downstairs.
Three bedrooms upstairs with air conditioners, the master bedroom, is furnished with king size low wooden bed, chest of drawers, hand made antique kilim, wardrobe and an armchair.
Two of the bedrooms, open to a wooden, shaded balcony looking at the bays and the Greek islands of Simi and Rhodes, places to sit and admire the views over the garden and the hills.

Details: Designed in a traditional style, situated on a small, exclusive hilltop with a panoramic view of the landscape and aquamarine sea from every window.

Can sleep 2-6 people
Open plan living- dining room with kitchen: open fire, wooden floors; furnished in country style with comfy armchairs, divan type sofas, dinning table and chairs.
Well –equipped kitchen (4 ring hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, coffee maker,)
Bathrooms on both floors, (upstairs bath and shower, downstairs shower only).
Three bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom has an air conditioner, antique kilims, wardrobe, and one bedroom with a single bed.
Tree leveled terrace gardens, with spectacular views of the landscape and the sea.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT LOCATION

Datca is the main town of the Peninsula. An idyllic little resort with a fine yacht-filled harbour, it is a pretty place to hang around and relax away from the tourist madness of Marmaris and Bodrom yet, in reaching distance to both of these well-known resorts of Turkey. There are regular buses to Marmaris which is only 75km, 1.5hrs away and during the summer months, scheduled ferry services operate between Bodrum and Datca. There are some souvenir shops and a big modern supermarket as well as weekly traditional street market with full of local colour and charm.

The approximate driving/transfer time to the airport is 3.5hrs. But driving through spectacular scenery to reach, our village makes this journey a well worth one.

The Mesudiye village itself, have 3 small shops, a bakery and a few restaurant on the beach which is only 20/25minutes walking distances from our homes - or 5/10 min. drive away. For swimming, you can choose both beaches of the village or walk/drive to one of the totally deserted hidden bays/coves that covers our coastline.
