The appreciation of Textiles, Art and Design is very personal and my work, I know, will not appeal to everyone but I hope the colour and subject matter will bring a degree of joy to many of you.
I am attracted to 3D, fun, colour and texture in my own work and seem to be drawn in that direction. However, I am always willing to explore a new subject and will rise to the challenge of new idea's appreciating both the traditional and modern approach to this field of work.
Despite having many years textile experience, I have only recently joined with Force 8 and have started to experience the thrill of exhibiting my work. Working full time, my value to the administration side of the group is very limited and I would like to acknowledge the support which they give me both with this and in their encouragement and motivation.
I do hope the limited sample you see here gives some pleasure to the viewer.
