many years ago..............
in a land far far away................
there be witches..............................

To combat this terror against humanity the powers that be formulated a simple test to safeguard the human race.

The suspected witch was tied up,  weighted down and thrown in a river.
If she sank to the bottom and drowned, she was innocent.
If she floated, she was guilty and executed.

justice was done

Now we have the 21st Century equivalent.

We attack Iraq.
If the Iraqi's DO NOT use weapons of mass destruction they are innocent.
If the Iraqi's DO USE weapons of mass destruction they are guilty.

Meanwhile..............we count the dead.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the dark ages never really ended..................................
