At last it's been announced.
Nigel Rudd, Chief Executive of Corby Borough Council is moving on to pastures
new.
Or, as CBC website, sycophantically, put it ..............
'Corby Borough Council is proud to announce the appointment of their
Chief Executive Nigel Rudd
to the newly established position of Chief Executive to the East Midlands
Regional Assembly.
The Assembly is composed of representatives of the business, community and
local government sectors'
Our Nigel's achievements to date include:
Presiding over the FIRST District Auditors
highly
critical Section 8 report.
Presiding over the SECOND District Auditors Section 8 report, which highlighted
the
same problems as the first - only FOUR years
later!
Presiding over the FIRST highly critical Corporate Governance report where
Corby
was called
'one of the worst councils in England'.
Presiding over the SECOND Corporate Governance report, finally a slight
improvement, some services actual stayed the same, although some
were actually WORSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Presiding over Heads of Services who
routinely break
the law by refusing to provide information requested which, BY
LAW, they are obliged to provide.
Taking this kind of success to the East Midlands Regional Assembly are we
