The Fringe Festival is a 17-day multi-disciplinary arts festival that runs from the 27th September to 13th October. The Festival acts as a showcase for a vast range of contemporary culture with an East Anglian bias.

We offer a platform to local artists, performers, theatre groups etc. by encouraging them to organise their own events and then promoting them free of charge within the 25,000 programmes we produce. The Fringe also books national and international artists to raise the profile of the participants and the Festival itself.

There are also other initiatives the Fringe organises to feed into the creative cultural infrastructure: these include the 'Edinburgh Prize', the new Pub Circuit, the record label and the 'Sense of Place' national touring exhibition.'

This site carries information about the visual arts part of the festival.
