This is the CD version of the second tape (Pure Delight) of Music for Highland Dancers by the Ramblers.
Deryck & Gareth Mitchelson have both been actively involved with music almost for as long as they have with Highland Dancing and it was this combined interest that gave rise to the tapes. The music on the tapes, and now this CD, was chosen and played by the brothers, accompanied by 2 accomplished pipers, to provide more that just a sucession of beats for the dancer but rather music to inspire and be part of the performance.
