the Dance with Fire concert - format & contentsWhilst not wanting to give away too much of the concert I thought that it would be useful to give an outline of what it will contain.
The Dance with Fire concert is, as the name sugests, a concert of Dance - nothing else.
We have worked hard to produce a concert filled with variety - sometimes slow and sometimes fast, often light but occasionally dark, solos, duets and whole group pieces.
Included in the evening's performance will be:
Awakening
From our Mayfest concert - this piece is a reflection of the changing moods and energies of the dancers as they are aroused from a soft introduction, progressing through graceful formations to a finish bursting with energy.
On the Greens
A piece by our Canadian dancers - Colleen, Sara & Dana
The Highland Fling
What Highland Dance concert could be complete without the Fling? (Although there may be a few surprises in this one)
