THE GREAT MONGEHAM SOCIETY
The Society was founded in
2000 following the village entry for DATABOX 2000.
Subjects of special interest
in the local area are history, flora and fauna, farming and changes to the
environment,
archaeology, conservation areas,
preservation of all that is worth in the village and maintenance of footpaths.
The Society is not intended to
be fund raising and is self financing by subscription.
Membership is open to all
villagers past and present, young and old who demonstrate a specific interest
in the village.
