Darrack de'Torfane    Royal adventurers guild 

Darrack de'Torfane is one of the hero's of the Dead End Drop mission , that found the cure for the plague of Ghorst . A rogue and swindler my nature as well as occupation he is the black sheep of the de'Torfane family . The eldest of the legitimate sons of Sir Guygaxe de'Torfane . His Father however disowned him in favor of making Garrick his heir .  He hold no official guild positions within the RGA but is one of the most respected adventurers in Bereny . Though it is true that he is not without enemies he can count on many friendships among the most powerful guilds in Bereny . He is most often in the company of Gorungar , a glacier barbarian who has taken the slayers vows  and seeks the honorable death that eludes him . Darrack has recently been asked by Duke Dirk steadfast to be his best man at the dukes impending wedding .A choice that has raised a few eye brows in polite society . he is also engaged to be married to Lady " Farrisa " Scathach the second Royal adventurer and deputy of the RGA . Darrack tends to live life on the edge , because life is a gamble , and he is a gambling man ......... In order to woe Farrisa Darrack journeyed to another plane of existence and met Hardoc's lost soul to which he is now bound .

Sir Boric of Hasjan     The White Tower    Knight Commander of the Grey Codex 

Sir Boric was born the bastard son of Sir Guygaxe de'Torfane , and is the late knights eldest son , and were it not for his illegitimate birth he would be Guygaxe's heir . His mother who was a member of a noble family handed over her baby to a tavern serving girl called Lillith in the barracks Tavern in Hasjan where Sir Guygaxe  was serving in the royal army despite been married two years before to Marianne Taboner . Lilith brought up Boric on her own for the better part of fourteen years until her death , When the tavern owner sent Boric to his father who by then was a knight of the new White tower . Guygaxe had been unaware of his son's existence until this time . Unable to acknowledge  him publicly due to his marriage to Marianne Guygaxe asked his brother Guydrell who was the Knight Commander of the Gray codex at that time to place his son within the tower as a squire in Guydrells order . And so Boric was raised in the latter part of his life by his uncle . Upon been raised to the knighthood some years latter Sir Boric chose to remain in the gray codex , Finding that he had an abject talent for espionage and diplomacy . He became Sir Guydrells most trusted aid until his death a little over two years ago . Sir Boric was then raised By Baron Stryker to the position of Knight commander of the Grey Codex . Where he still serves . The truth behind his birth and heritage is a secret he has tried to keep for the sake of his fathers memory . Though he fears that at least one of the de'Torfane family knows the truth ........................

Master Garrick de'Torfane   The Bereny Merchants consortium 

Garrick de'Torfane . A simple wagon trader who has plied his trader across the kingdom for several years . He is also  proprietor of the Bereny Merchants Consortium , the largest and more organized of the Trading consortiums in the Kingdom . Under his leadership the BMC has become a powerful voice in kingdom politics representing the traders of the kingdom as a whole . He was born the second son of Sir Guygaxe de'Torfane and Marianne Taboner . And became Sir Guygaxe's heir when his elder brother Darrack was disinherited . His trading efforts have lead to his mother having the funds to purchase the family estate in Moonward . Garrick is respected by most as a shrewd operator though some say he is even more of a rogue than his elder brother . Few get the better of him in a deal . Though he is honest in nature he is at the end of the day a trader and always looking for the best deal . He is in many ways the most dangerous of the de'Torfane family if you renege on a deal .................

Marianne de'Torfane ( maiden name Taboner ) Common Lord estate holder 

Marianne de'Torfane was born the sister of baron Nickoli Taboner . and married Sir Guygaxe de'Torfane some 28 years ago . To hume she gave birth to two sons and a daughter . Darrack , Garrick , and Marianna . She fell in love with the tall Tower knight and married him despite her brothers misgivings at her marriage to a commoner . Upon the deaths of Sir Guygaxe and her daughter Marianna two years ago she uttered an oath that she would never trust the tower again . Her second son Garrick purchased the de'Torfane estates in western moonward which she now runs as a common land owner . She named the estates keep Guydrell after her husbands brother , with hume she shared a brief affair not long after the birth of Marianna . . The affair lead to the Birth of her third son Guymar . Who was raised as if he was the son of Guygaxe . Though from the moment of his conception she and her husband rarely exchanged more than a few words . The rift between them was never healed due to the knights death . Only she knows the truth behind Guymars birth after Guydrell died not long after his brother . She was however distraught to find her youngest son joining the White Tower not long after the deaths of the two brothers . She has recently found love again and to her in a bitter twist the man in question is another knight of the tower Kadrick Bremmer who was sent to serve as an advisor to the de'Torfane estate by Sir Boric of Hasjan . Her husbands Bastard . A man she despises for his heritage ..

Jarris Callen  Dreadnought  Leader of the red scarf 

Jarris Callen was born upon an estate near the Derwent boarder , where he served in his local lords militia , until after five years the militia was decimated in an ill judged charge that lead to glory for the Baron at the expense of the lives of most of his militia . It was at this point Jarris is believed to have formed his hatred of the nobility . Though it is possible it has even deeper roots and some have claimed that he is in fact a disaffected son of a minor noble himself . Rumors that he deigns at all times . He discovered an old half burned copy of the Book of Thaine . And was inspired by the wisdom that he saw in the words of the long dead social commentator . The fact that he only has fragments of the writers work has not detracted from his vigorous belief in the words of Thaine . Some have joked that the missing pages are where Thaine tells the world the whole thing was one big whined up . Though never to Jarris's face .............. He joined Dreadnought a couple of years ago , where he raised through his quick intellect to be leader in a few short months . When he formed the red scarf from within the guild .

Grimbeard    Dwarven Knight of the Roffarin Brotherhood and quester the rune forge 

Grimbeard was born in Lux to a disaffected Dwarven family from the mountains around Torlia who had lost there homes due to the Dark Dwarf raids ten years before , and the part of the mountains that were his homeland are now Dark Dwarf protectorates over run with goblins and other foul beasts . Because of this Grimbeard has a pathological hatred of his Dark Dwarf cousins . And goes into a berserk fury upon sight of them . From which even his closest friends Bonnie beard and Sir Guymar of the tower can not break him . Grimbeard met Engal Von Evilstien Leader of the Roffarin shortly after the guild was first formed and aided the ex Warder to form the guild . As such he is well respected among the knighthood , though he holds no formal rank within the guild he is considered to be one of the founding knights . He also has a keen interest in his peoples heritage and as such joined Runeforge at an early age . He divided his time between his duties as a roffarin to the weak and his duties to the forge as a seeker of the lost knowledge . While he seeks to win the heart of Bonnie Beard . Whom he met in his first days as an adventurer .

Hardoc de'Brinyak ( deceased ) Bard and Seeker of the Great song .

Hardoc de'Brinyak began his career as a traveling bard in the dungeons of Miasma . The last but on of the de'Brinyak brothers , his only remaining sibling been Taron a member of the warders sent to the frontier for some unknown reason by the guild . Seeking a rich patron for his work Hardoc approached Baron Brightblade about the possibility of joining the warders guild . and became an honoree member of the guild . And was latter to join the RGA and play at the wedding of the Baron and Baroness Miranda head of the RGA . He then spent the better part of a year in the baroness's company , journeying the cold catacombs of Ice haunt dungeon . It was in Ice haunt he was struck by a strange vision that changed his life and obsessed him until his death . He became the Seeker of the Great song . Searching alone for fragments of the song of the gods . This search was to lead to his death in the cold waters of the lizardmens holy of holy's in Mirrormane dungeon . But even in death Hardoc's essence did not disperse . and his sprit became trapped in the netherworld of the Shadow lands . Where he struck a deal with Darrack de'Torfane and is now soul linked with the rogue .His tie to the rogue allowing him to keep his essence strong within the void and to speak through Darrack to the moral world still .

Sir Mathious Flamebeard Dwarven Knight of the White tower ( the knight with no Codex )

Sir Mathious joined the White tower at the Behest of Sir Boric to be his deputy in the Grey Codex . Many thought that Mathious was a strange choice for the role as his military background as a Sergeant in the Royal army Dwarves divisions seemed unsuited to a role in quiet diplomacy . They were in many ways correct as Mathious tended to approach problems with a straight forward honesty that is seldom seen in the circles of court politics . And he tended to shout a lot . However the reasons that Sir Boric does things are not always to be taken at face value . Sir Mathious handled several diplomatic problems with a face on approach that brought matters to a swift conclusion ., Unfortunately he also put many a nose out of joint in the process , Including the nose of Sir Naugstagg of Poldoon the Senchal of the tower , second only to the knight commander himself . Events moved with a pace and the senchal insisted that Sir Mathious be punished for his actions , Formally offering his resignation if that did not happen . Much to the shock of many Sir Naugstags grand play fell foul of Baron Stryker and the resignation was accepted . Later friction between the former senchal and the deputy of the grey flared once more . Leading to sir Naugstagg challenging Sir Mathious to a dual . The dual was never fought but the baron demoted both knights and Sir Naugstag resigned from the knighthood in outrage . Sir Mathious now has no official codex , Though many still believe he works for Sir Boric of the Grey . And that the knighthood has not heard the Last of Sir Mathious .
