| I was born in London, England, one of four children. From an early age I was a voracious reader, reading bus tickets and the telephone directory when nothing else offered, according to my mother! I went to an all girls' school in Buckinghamshire before studying at a ladies' college at Oxford University. I then went into Marketing and devoted my creative energy to promoting foods and beauty products, whilst spending every spare penny on travelling. I have visited 30 countries including India, Morocco, Zambia and the Lebanon. My first romance novella, "The Rose of Shiraz", was inspired by a real-life trip to Central Asia. | I have been writing for fun since I was at primary school. My first published work was in the high school magazine. As well as writing I enjoy walking and riding, and I am still a voracious reader! I love all those classic romances such as Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre" (I'm on my third copy as I've read the first two to pieces) and "She" by H.Rider Haggard.
