Extending the walk for travellers by public transport, we
cross the village green passing the Cricket Club to Berwick Way. |
|
|
|
Turning left along Berwick Way we climb up to School Road.
looking back we see Heysham Head across the green, the Georgian style house
only being visible during the winter months is a fine building. |
|
|
|
On reaching School Road we turn right and
in a few yards reach the entrance to the Old Hall Inn and the bus terminus
at Heysham Towers. Opposite the bus terminus is Douglas Park, with bowls
& tennis. |
|
|
|
