Welcome to Highbend Boxers. We are based in a small Village of Highampton, Devon, England.

I have owned Boxers for 12 years, just a beginner really but i have bred dogs for over 20 years.  My first Boxer a plain brindle bitch now my golden Oldie called 'Carla' was bought as a pet unbeknown to me at the time she would become my foundation bitch. Carla was very successful in the Showring and I was bitten by the 'showbug' so I decided to produce something from her of my own, suitable for Championship Shows.   In my hunt for a Stud Dog I was introduced to MRS LYNETTE DAVEY OF KITWE BOXERS UK, who has helped me without question and unfailing throughout my show years in Boxers.

'Carla' produced 10 puppies in her litter to KITWE INTO THE BLUE.  From the litter a stunning red/white dog - (well known Stud and Show Dog) HIGHBEND CAPTIN SCARLET went to Mrs Davey - Kitwe Boxers UK. I kept 2 bitches myself HIGHBEND RED WREN and HIGHBEND MAIDEN VOYAGE, both have been consistent winners. These 3 stormed the Showdog world and HIGHBEND BOXERS was born.

It came to my attention that HIGHBEND CAPTIN SCARLET was the grandfather of a local litter BELONGING TO NICK AND FRANCIS HEYDA NOW VALUED FRIENDS OF MINE. I bought a male WREKHOME BRAVEST OF DREAMS AT HIGHBEND J.W ShCM - (Oliver) from them.  Oliver gained his Junior Warrant at 13 months and his first C.C. came at Five Years Old under Andrew Thompson plus DOUBLE BIS WINNER. Oliver has produced HIGHBEND GRYFANDOR a consistent winner and Crufts qualified at his first Championship Show.   Up and coming is my exciting Oliver Grandson HIGHBEND HIGH JINKS again like all the above a beautiful square bodied Boxer with excellent temperament and adorable expression and at only 10 months has the potential for a successful show career, also as introduced above Highbend Hi Toff Fashion.

The initials 'ShCM' stand for 'Show Certificate of Merit'. This was introduced by the English Kennel Club on the 1 January 2003 for Adult Dogs at Open Shows Only.
