Basic Techniques Demo in the Main Hall...with Karen!

HSNW member, Karen, is on-hand to demonstrate stamping techniques from 11.30am until 4pm.
Find her in the main hall, and say Hello!

There is, as usual, a continuous demonstration of Basic Rubber Stamping Techniques from 11.30am - 4.00pm in the larger exhibition hall. This is undertaken by a member of Happy Stampers North West.
Karen is very approachable, so do come and say hello!
Feel free to come and look at our stamped examples, ask us a question, and watch us demonstrate various techniques that are important to beginners, and often give inspiration to stamping die-hards! People always take something of use away from our stand, whether it's how to use embossing powder, finally understanding the difference between the types of ink available,
tips on how to use brayers, or something else!

There's always loads to learn, and, of course it's all FREE. Also, some of our demonstrating tools/accessories are donated by retailers at the show, so if you fall in love with a stamp/product at our stall, chances are you'll be able to purchase it on the day. (Be warned, we have in the past caused inordinate levels of spending!) You'll find us located at stand H on your free programme, that's behind the central pillar in the main exhibition hall.  Look forward to seeing you!

More Information

Please make sure that you ALWAYS collect a programme, and there is such a lot of information in it. Some of it is useful on the day, such as room floor plans etc. but when you get home you will also find web addresses, street addresses and telephone numbers for your favourite exhibitors as well as our  festival organisation.

Don't forget we have two halls full of exhibitors, with 34 exhibitors in total. This Festival is truly international as we have
with us StampCamp from Dallas, Texas, and Paper Pleasures from Nova Scotia. Please bear in mind that these retailers cannot accept payment by cheque.

 This Festival's Card Competition!

(Please note that your card MUST feature rubber stamping predominantly, or it will not qualify to be judged.)

The theme for the Spring Festival is ...
"Fresh as a Daisy"
Design a card using stamped images of any flowers from the daisy family.

The size of your card MUST NOT be greater than 6" x 6",
but it doesn't have to be square - so standard 6" x 4" is fine.
Although we are delighted to present cards that do not meet these
requirements, for other visitors to admire, they will NOT be considered
for the competition prizes, so please give yourself the best chance
of winning some fabulous goodies, and make sure your entries
adhere to the guidelines!

Each entry must be marked with your name, address and competition category. (see below)

Category 1 : Young Persons (16 yrs and under)
Category 11 : Adult (17 yrs and over)

Optional - include details of how you created your rubber stamped card including stamp names and manufacturer, so that if your winning card is featured
on our website, you can share your expertise with your fellow stampers!

COMPETITION ENTRIES SHOULD BE BROUGHT AND SUBMITTED ON THE DAY.
Judging will take place at approx. 3.30 pm.

NB. If you will not be at the show to collect your entry after judging, please make sure you enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your entry.

There is ample parking near the Hall, and it is within easy reach by Merseyrail, connecting with the mainline station. For more information about reaching the Festival venue, click here.

~Admission~

In accordance with Health & Safety regulations, we now sell tickets

It's undoubtedly a brilliant deal, and a far cheaper ticket price
than the other national rubber stamp shows.
