As Sam is leaping in, there are a group of lads harassing the person he has leaped into. They are trying to mess with his hair. Sam looks in the mirror and sees that he has leaped into a young Elvis Presley, before the days the world knew him.
Al comes quickly and he is all excited. He tells Sam who he is, but of course by this stage Sam knows. Al tells Sam that Elvis is to be discovered the following day by Mr. Phillips. Sam asks is he here to help Elvis get discovered. Al laughs at the idea saying Elvis doesn't need the help. Sam is here to help a woman called Sue Anne Winters get discovered. Al also warns Sam not to hinder Elvis' big chance.
Sam listens to Sue Anne singing and thinks she has a great voice. When she got up on the stage to sing in front of an audience for the county singing competition, she freezes. This prompts Sam to come on and sing the song with her. Sue Anne gets her confidence back and starts singing along with "Elvis". The judges are so impressed with them; they offer them a duo contract. Al is horrified because now Elvis and Sue Anne become the 50s Sonny and Cher. Elvis isn't discovered!
Can Sam change history again so that Elvis and Sue Anne are discovered for their solo talents? Or is Elvis doomed to singing love songs with Sue Anne?
