Organizational Background
Intercultural Development Agency (IDA) is a Non-Governmental, Non-profit, Non-political Local and International Voluntary Cross-Cultural Organisation carrying out Development activities on a National and International level since October 2004 with a vision of Sustainable Development for Youth through International Cooperation.” and a Mission: “To promote, advocate and lobby for Health, Socio-Cultural, and Economic Programs to support and assist Youth.”

Strategic Goals:
(i) To encourage, support and strengthen voluntarism by involving Youth and Adults to actively participate in and promoting and implementing Community Development Programs.
(ii) To Promote Unity, Peace and Conflict Resolution through Open Dialogue, work camps, Exchange programs, Capacity Building and other forms of psychosocial support.
(iii) To improve the welfare of communities through Sharing of Information, Ideas and Resources using different forms of Media and Technology.
(iv) To mobilize and empower communities through Income Generating Activities aimed towards rehabilitation of communities, resource mobilization and improving standards of living.
