RESULTS FROM THE SECOND McDONALD'S SCOTTISH YOUNG ATHLETES LEAGUE ON THE 3RD OF JUNE 2001
In the under 17 women's events Kelly Payne continued to improve. The under 15 girls had a bigger squad and were well served by Caroline Ferns, Leanne Galloway, Vicky Ferguson, Heather Morgan and Ashley Gorman.
There were some excellent performances from the under 13 girls, Vikki Cresswell, Louise Doig, Rebecca Edge and Michaela Farrell.
Kevin Aitken and Brian Greenshields showed promise in the under 17 men's events, with William Morgan and Sean Farrell looking good for the under 13 boys.
