As me being the Director of international Understanding for this year I thought of extending this very productive project for the coming year that is 2002/2003. This project if carried out successfully I think is a FUN project which also gives all communities around the world an insight on each others life styles, religion, culture etc, thus giving us a greater understanding of the world and people which I believe is what International Understanding is all about. For you'll who have no clue to what this project is about it will be where jointly each of us around the world collect facts and publishes a BULLETIN with an International perspective. R.I President Bhichai Rattakul's visit to Sri Lanka

The R.I President Rtn. Bhichai Rattakul visited our country in the month of August and was greeted with great welcoming ceremony at the BMICH which was organized by the Rotary clubs. The event saw a impressive number of interactors who showed up. At the end of the day this event was deemed a great success by all. We wish the R.I President the greatest of strengths in this upcoming year so that he will be able to full fill his dreams for Rotary which will in hand contribute to the communities all around the world.

Installation completed with a neat touch!

The installation of our club was held on the 30th of July at the college hall. Although we were confronted with a major hitch in the technical area at the last moment the Incoming president Rishard and the rest of the club was able to handle it quite calmly and make the evening a success no matter what( Computers while making life easier can also make it a great mess!!!! ). We could say the participation was wonderful and we like to give out a big thankx to every one who participated.

Attention! this goes out to all the sports maniacs

Yes, It's the great event once again and it's none other than INTERACTION. This years Interaction organizing committee meetings r being hosted by us and r held each Sunday at our college premises. It is due to be held on the 26th and 27th of October. Int's Rishard, Ishan, Praseedh, Mohideen, Hisham, Faad and Usama r representing our school in organizing this great event. Isipathana will also be hosting the Scrabble and Chess tournaments too.

With the guidance and efforts of the D.I.R Eranda, Project Chairperson Sandesh and the district committee, all members of the organizing committee jointly are giving in their best to make this event a huge success and already have come up with many innovative ideas so it is guaranteed to be special( Believe me, I know! cos I'm a part of the committee). So we wish to see all you energetic Guy and Gals there!!!!!

INTERACTION EVENT SCHEDULES COMING UP SHORTLY!

KICK OFF 2002

Well well..... Kick off 2002 organized jointly by the Interact Club of Isipathana College and the Rotract Club of Cinnamon Gardens was held as planed on the 15th of sep at our college grounds. The match was Kicked off at around 9:45am and continued through out the day giving all players and spectators a sense of fun and excitement. Eventually A.I.S immerging victors at the end of the day taking home a Shiny cup as the final reward. All in all the project was considered a success by both Rotract and Interact clubs who wrapped up the event and left the grounds very much satisfied!!! Thankx very much Guys and Gals who participated, it was nice to see u all there!!

THE ISIPATHANA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS RUGBY 7'S .......... WOW!!!!! What a Totally magnificent event it was!!

As usual Isipathana stuns the Island once again this time by the means of an International Tournament of of fun, excitement and total POWER none other than the International schools Rugby 7's which was organized by the O.B.A in celebrating our colleges 50 years of existence. And once again the interactors of our club helping out in the co-ordination of this event which was a major success and was telecast Live throughout the country giving all viewers a taste of what Isipathana has to offer. You might have even spotted a few of our interactors on TV working hard to make the event a success while of course I was Icing away my time up in the commentary box pretending to look busy although ..Hey! seeing to the Score sheets and Team cards can be a pretty tiring job right?????
