Meets Friday evenings open to ages 13-18. Please ensure subscriptions are paid promptly and gift aid forms completed.

 

Javelin ESU has approaching 15 members and expanding rapidly. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is being run and activities are organised by the Executive Committee.

 

Forth coming events detailed below.

 

6^th April (Good Friday)             5pm at hut for our ongoing conservation work at Cud Hill (near Painswick Beacon). If possible bring garden gloves

                                                and a pair of pruners. We will return at dusk.

 

13^th April                                  7.30pm at hut to learn the basics of Tikondo.

 

20^th April                                  St Georges Night. 7.30 at hut for an evening of English food and games

 

27^th April                                  Badminton Night at Brockworth Sports Centre. Meet at hut at 7.15pm

 

4^th May (bank Holiday)            SNOWDON 100. The biggest explorer event in 2007 to celebrate 100 years of scouting. Minibuses will be departing Friday evening at Saturday. Returning Sunday and Monday. £20 initial cost. Hopefully we will be able to offer a refund when our charitable donation arrives from Hucclecote Rugby Club

 

11^th May                                  Pioneering bridge over stream. 7.30pm at hut

 

18^th May                                  Swimming. 7pm at the hut. Cost £3.00 at either stroud or brockworth

 

25^th May                                  Rounders and cricket on king george V 730 at hut

 

1^st June                                     BBQ 7.30

 

Subs are £20 per quarter. £20 must be paid for between 1^st April and 30^st June. Prompt early payment will enable some activities to be subsidised
