Nirvana Tracks (D)

D-7 aka Dimension 7, Straight As An Arrow - A track originally by the Wipers. It was originally used for the Hormoaning EP but the track was later used as a b-side to Lithium but only in the UK :). Also the track was recorded in the UK as part of a John Peel (aka god) session. Also it was performed at the Reading Festival in 1992. It's a really cool track and it has a lot of links to the UK so buy the Lithium single or download it from somewhere like Napster. (lyrics) (midi)

Dazed And Confused - This is a cover of a Led Zeppelin track performed live on two occasions in 1989. This track is mainly a jam but Chris Novoselic did add his vocals when performed in Mezzago, Italy.

Determined aka Anywhere But Here - This is a possible fake although some people claim that it was recorded during the Drunk in Rio sessions in 1993. The recording is poor quality and it only lasts 43 seconds. It sounds as though Courtney could be doing most of the vocals but I'm not sure.

Dive aka Guide, Down With Me - This is the opening track to Incesticide. It was originally a b-side to Sliver in 1990. (lyrics) (midi)

Do You Love Me? - A cover of a Kiss track. It appeared on "Hard To believe: A Kiss Compilation". It has Jason Everman on guitar. (lyrics) (midi)

Down In The Dark - This track was recorded in 1989. It's actually a Mark Lanegan track but Kurt and Chris both play guitar and Kurt also supplys backing vocals. (lyrics)

Downer aka Donner - This is taken from the Bleach album but it was also on Incesticide. This track has Dale Crover on drums. There is also an early recording of this track recorded during the Kaos sessions which is at a much slower pace. (lyrics) (midi)

Drain You aka Drain Your Aneurysm, Draw You - This track is from Nevermind. It was also used as a b-side to the Come As You Are single. (lyrics) (midi)

Dumb aka Ain't Over, Just Happy, Womb, Dump - This is a little mellow track from In Utero. This track gained popularity when it was performed at MTV unplugged in New York. (lyrics) (midi)
