Nirvana Tracks (M) Marigold aka I Want It All, She Said, Colour Pictures Of Marigold - This was recorded during the In Utero sessions in March 1993. It didn't appear on In Utero but it was used as a b-side to Heart Shaped Box. Dave Grohl does the vocals and also plays guitar whilst Kurt plays drums. An acoustic demo of this track also exists. (lyrics) (midi) Mexican Seafood aka Dirty Digger, Mexican Seawood - A short track on Incesticide. Another version of this track was also recorded during the KAOS sessions in 1987. The verse is sorta grunted out by Kurt and it's a very funny track. It's a personal favourite of mine. (lyrics) (midi) Milk It aka Test Me, Milk Cow, Milking It, Avant Garde, Milk Made - This track is taken from In Utero and was previously a b-side to Heart Shaped Box. This is one of Nirvana more psychotic tracks becuz it has a down tempo verse and an explosive screamy sorta chorus. (lyrics) (midi) Misery Loves Company aka Maiden Circle, Look For Company, Unexpected, Spectre - This track was supposedly recorded in 1986. It's a very slow and gothic track and its a poor quality recording because there's a humming sound in the background. (lyrics) (midi) Moby Dick Jam- A live jam which is based from a Led Zeppelin track. Moist Vagina aka MV, Marijuana, Smelly Vagina, Mary Jane, 4:20 - This was recorded during the In Utero sessions and was later used as a b-side to Rape Me/All Apologies where it was labeled as MV for censorship purposes. This is a very cool track and it probably didn't make it onto the album just because of its title. Don't let the title put you off though. (lyrics) (midi) Molly's Lips aka Mummy's Home, She Says, Polly's Lips - Most people know this track from Incesticide but before it was on the Hormoaning EP and also as a single in January 1991. It was a split single with Fluid. This track was recorded for John Peel at Radio 1. It was originally by The Vaselines. (lyrics) (midi) Montage Of Heck part 1 & 2 aka The Landlord part 1 & 2 - The Montage Of Heck is a collection of sounds that Kurt stuck together in 1988. They include samples from radio commercials, childrens tv programs and anything else that's weird. But within this is a bit of an unrecorded Nirvana track called "The Landlord". It also features Kurt screaming. This original Montage of Heck is supposed to last almost an hour but Montage of Heck 1 & 2 are the known circulating excerpts. More Than A Feeling - A short little live track where Chris supplies the vocals. The guitar riff is very similar to Smells Like Teen Spirit. Mr Moustache aka MM - Taken from Bleach. An interesting version of this track can be found on the Outcesticide series. It features the vocals of Kurt Cobain but instead of using lyrics he replaces the words with random childish noises. (lyrics) (midi) My Best Friends Girl - This is a live cover of a track by The Cars. This was performed at Nirvanas last ever show. (lyrics) My Sharona - A short live track which was played in Rennes, France in 1994. It was originally by The Knack. (lyrics) |
