Nirvana Tracks (P) Paper Cuts - Taken from "Bleach". This track has Dale Crover on drums. (lyrics) (midi) Pay To Play aka Make It Big - This is the original version of Stay Away which is on Nevermind. It was recorded in 1990. The only noticeable differences between Pay To Play and Stay Away is that instead of the lyrics "stay away", they are replaced with Pay To Play (sort of makes sense when you think about it :-p). This track is about Nirvana when they first started out trying to get gigs. (lyrics) Pen Cap Chew aka Rise - This track was originally recorded in 1988. There are two known studio versions of this track. It's a short track but not intentionally, it was just that they shortened the track when recording so they could fit it onto their limited amount of tape. (lyrics) (midi) Pennyroyal Tea aka Household Drugs, China Tea, I'm So Tired - This track is from In Utero and it was going to be Nirvanas last single until the death of Kurt. Ironically the b-side to this single was going to be I Hate Myself And Want To Die. This track was also performed solo by Kurt at Unplugged in New York. (lyrics) (midi) Plateau - This track was performed at MTV Unplugged In New York. The track was originally by The Meat Puppets. (lyrics) (midi) Polly aka Cracker - This track is on Nevermind. It's a solo acoustic by Kurt. A heavier version of this track (new wave polly) is featured in Incesticide. There is also another studio version of this track that I found on Napster but I'm unsure about its origins. (lyrics) (midi) |
