This series concerned the trials and tribulations of Jeremy Brown, a college teacher who's job it was to teach English to class of foreign students. As you can imagine the students lack of understanding of the British language and customs leads to all sorts of chaos. In the series Jeremy was played by Barry Evans ,Zara Nutley (who reminded me of Joan Sanderson, who played Miss Ewell in Please sir!, another classroom comedy) played Miss Courtney and another great character actor Tommy Godfrey played, Sid the caretaker. The students were : Francoise
Pascal - Danielle Faure (Series 1-3) This was a funny strip, and such a relief after seven years of doctors, not that the doctors weren't funny for a while. Still not a big fan of Titcombe's artwork, but he did give the characters a quirky appearance which added to the fun.Interesting stories made this a memorable strip.
