Welcome to this site. Medu Ka Maat is a set of inspirational writings drawn from conversations, thoughts, inspiration and outlook that call on us to investigate the deeper meanings and blessings in things and people, situations we encounter.
It is the contributions of many, across the ages, as translated by one.
My Interests
A poet and writer since childhood, I was once inspired
by my father to "gather my writings into a book and keep them for me to look back on in later times".
This advice stayed with me when I took up writing again, in much later years. These writings have grown out of letters, conversations, thoughts and inspiration, captured as much for myself as for any other to whom they may be of benefit.
It is my hope then, in sharing these words, that they might find a home in the thoughts of others, and be of some positive impact, or soothe a sorrowed soul. I have seen the power of poetry to impact the spirit and bring about change, and hope that my words go out to do good.
