Question Which river runs through Sheffield?
Answer on the Night The Don
The Quibble That the River Sheaf also runs through Sheffield

Verdict Verdict currently awaited due to a semantic debate. The River Sheaf runs through Sheffield and then joins with the The Don. The Quizmaster contends that this tributary status means that the the Sheaf is subordinate to the Don. The Sheaf is however referred to locally and on maps as a river, and gave Sheffield its name. Had the question been, "Which is the largest of Sheffield's rivers?" The Don would have been the correct answer.

More discussion may be posted if the debate rumbles on.

Question What did Tiswas stand for?
Answer on the Night Today is Saturday, wear a smile
The Quibble That in a previous Kings Arms Quiz the answer was given as 'This is Saturday Watch and Smile'

Verdict Hung Jury. When TISWAS was launched in the ATV region it was simply Today is Saturday. When it went national it was called TISWAS. There is no compelling evidence on the web that TISWAS was ever explicitly defined. The answer Today is Saturday Wear a Smile has a weight of backing from sites such as the BBC, the BFI and nostalgia central. Whereas TV Cream uses both definitions, and Channel4 and Nostalgia central Support This Is Saturday Watch and Smile. This verdict is up for challenge.
