About the Club & the Site.

Kokusai Karate club has been teaching Shotokan Karate for over 15 years. Ran by Billy Haggarty (4th Dan), who has 25 years experience in Shotokan and has competed at Regional, National and International level. The club was originally based in Dumbarton, but now trains in Clydebank and Duntocher, near Glasgow, Scotland. The Club is a member of Zanshin Kai Scotland, which is affiliated to the Scottish Karate Board. We try to teach a high standard of Karate, but in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The club takes part in regular Tournaments and Courses, both nationally and locally. We can also offer students a large range of karate gi's and equipment at discounted prices.
