How to post messages to the group.
You will receive messages regarding steam locos from other group members. You will be able to post your own messages and take part in any ongoing discussions and will have access to the group’s files (details).
The group is free to join and anybody who is interested in steam locomotives is welcome to join.
To join the group send a blank e mail to
steam_locos-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Alternatively visit the Yahoo Groups page for this group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/steam_locos
By subscribing through the Yahoo Groups page you will be given more options regarding how you wish to receive the messages, for instance you can receive a daily digest containing all the day’s messages.
If you are not a member of Yahoo Groups it will ask you to sign up. This is a very straightforward process.

There is only one rule about posts to the group: they must be about steam.
Write your message on whatever program you normally write your e-mails on and send it to steam_locos@yahoogroups.com
Messages can also be posted from our Yahoo Groups page
Your message will then be received by every member of the group.
Messages by new members are moderated so there may be a slight delay in some of your first postings to the group coming through, unfortunately this is necessary to prevent abuse.
Each Yahoo group is allocated file and photo space. Files and photos uploaded to the group page are available for all the group members to view. Any files and photos are welcome as long as the subject is steam locos.
File and Photo space is limited so anything uploaded to the group page will be removed after a year to allow space for new items to be uploaded.
If you wish to leave the group send a blank e-mail to steam_locos-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Or you can do it on our Yahoo group’s page
If you simply wish to stop receiving messages while you are on holiday you can change your settings to 'No Email' on the Yahoo group’s page
