Set in the heart of unspoilt countryside, Le Guily is ideally situated for exploring Brittany, yet it is only 40 miles from both north and south coasts, and is easily accessible from the ferry ports of Roscoff, St Malo,Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre.
Lake Guerledan with its safe beaches, numerous water sports, including water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, and cruise-boats, is 4 miles away, as is the Nantes-Brest Canal, and Quénécan Forest. Kergrist, with its church, baker, butcher, garage, bars and restaurants is only one mile away, while the picturesque small town of Mur-de-Bretagne with super-market, tourist information centre, mini-golf is three miles away. The larger town of Pontivy is 6 miles away. There are several larger super-markets, a wide variety of shops and many good restaurants. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The area is ideal for walking or cycling and nearby are tennis, golf, canoe hire, fishing and horse riding.
