Welcome to LUTA - Leicester University Theatre Alumni.
Following the groundwork now put in place to develop an up to date database of LUT graduates' contact details the Committee plans to continue to organise reunion events in the future.
The LUT Reunion Ball 2005 took place on 19 March 2005 in Digby Hall, Oadby. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the event. There are some pictures available online - if you would like to share your own photos with everyone else please send an email with a link to where they are stored online.
So what does LUTA plan to do next?
A quarterly newsletter will be sent out by email to graduates, with updates on plays and current activities in LUT. A reunion event will be organised every few years with co-ordination with the current committee.
The current database will be maintained and expanded as members graduate.
This website will be developed with ways to contact other members being added. A quarterly newsletter will be sent out to all those who join.
We did the hard work to get the Ball to happen....now we'd like a little bit of help from you!
What did you think of the Ball? What was good? What should we change next time? In the future would you like a smaller reunion event - a gathering in a pub for instance just for a selected era, or is a large formal event every few years for everyone to come to a suitable format?
