Well the carnival gig went ok, except that the turnout wasnt too good - thanks to all those who came along to help support the carnival by drinking - the proceeds will be a welcome I'm sure :)

Next up is Sesiwn Fawr in Dolgellau on the 19th and the rock event in the Bell Hotel, Newtown on the 25th of July.

Well as some of you may know, we played in 'the final' last friday @ The Bell. Nice and busy there. Circumstances meant that we were first on the bill against Snatch (who funnily enough we played with in the very first round). An enjoyable night was had by all & a very close result - just 2 points in it - but alas, we came second. No disappointment though as Snatch were very (musically) tight and gave a great show - Good work boys. Hope we see you again sometime and all the best for the future.

We'd also like to thank The Bell Hotel, the soundman & co, the sponsors (Backyard Studios, Mid-Wales Music Centre and Radio Maldwyn) and definately the crowd for their support & hosting a much-needed event in this area, and we hope to see you all again next year - bigger & better.

We look forward to going to Backyard Studios to use the studio time (part of the prize) to good use & hopefully Radio Maldwyn for some air time :)

Well, quite a bit to say really but as I'm pretty tired, I'm not going to say much...honest.

First, I (and the rest of LMM) would like to welcome Shaney Boy to the
band - not really for his great guitar work, more for having someone
else to take the p**s out of hehe Only joking Shane :) Nice work so far
matey.

Secondly, we have taken part in the Battle Of The Bands which is
(I'm led to believe) held each year at The Bell Hotel, Newtown (Wales)
and amazingly, we have got to the finals - lets hope we can win it - it
certainly has given us the 'beating' (so-to-speak) needed to get
ourselves in gear and write some songs...and we have - not bad going
since 2 months ago we had about 3 songs....now its in the region of
about 10 - maybe more.

And lastly for now, depending on the outcome of the final on Friday
(20-06-03), we should be recording some songs at Backyard Studios
which should be fun. Maybe then, we will have some decent
recordings on the website for you all.

Lovely time in the Garthangharad as usual, even despite a tough crowd (we'll put up the wire mesh next time to stop the bottles) - only joking folks - hope you had a great 18th Phil! Yes, those pictures will be going up on the website ____[ you know who you are hehe.....;) ]____

Firstly, I'd like to say a big thank you to Shazz and the people of Llwyngwril (especially Phil for letting us stay - and take over - his house on New Years Eve. Stock up on the Corned Beef for next time hehe). I hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did and if any of you good folk happen to have to have any photo's of the gig, feel free to send them our way as we couldnt manage to take any this time around (bit hard when your playing really).

Secondly, on a sader note, we have to say goodbye to our old pal Tomos "Shadey" Wise (the bass man) and we'll never forget you - sepecially the slick, dry, humour that you have instilled in us, not forgetting those lovely 80s tunes too of course :)

Thirdly, continuing from the second point, we like to say a big hello to Arwel "Jesus Spider" Owen for joining us on the bass - 2 months of bass playing and hows he's managed to learn a good amount of the covers we do is beyond me.

Enough for one news report I think except to mention that we have started writing our own stuff and I must say that it sounds pretty good....even if I do say so myself :)
