Captain Frederick "Johnnie" Walker

The statue commemorating Captain Frederick "Johnnie" Walker was funded and raised by Captain Walkers Old Boys Association. On July 20th 2004 it was officially handed over to the safe keeping of Liverpool Council and the Lord Major graciously accepted in on behalf of the people of Liverpool. Capt Walkers Old boys officially disbanded on the same date following a service in St Nicholas' Church on the Pier Head and a handing over of the Standard to the safe keeping of Bootle Town Hall and Sefton Borough Council. Here it is now on permanent display.
