I was stationed at Didcot during my 2yr National Service (1952-1954) and met Betty who was a clerk in Stocktaking, she lived at 21 Saxons Heath. We still keep in touch with others from LW, Joyce & Larry Lee, now live in Didcot, Isobel Brown & Heather & Sammy Chung. Your illustration reminds me of my overnight stay at the home of Jim & Mary Andersons place on the eve of our wedding, just a little left of the Cross, on August 6th 1955. Would be interested to hear if any other previous residents of LW are located in Australia.
