It's the way forward.
My name is Les Bartlett I´m originally from Aberdeen Scotland.
Now I live in Hartlepool England With my Family.
I started cycling about eight years ago to get fit and Now
I average between 3000 to 4000 Mile´s a year.
I made the Feetfirst in the summer of 2003 after I seen a Recumbent in real life for the first time.
The Feetfirst was made from 100% recycled material (junk) I used two Mountain Bike frames to make the frame.
The seat for my Recumbent bicycle was made from a child´s pram some elastic from an old settee and a rowing machine seat.
And the chain guides for the Feetfirst I used two derailleur´s in fact I used anything I could get my hands on.

This is a close-up of the seat for the Feetfirst. It is held in place by a seat post at the back which has two stainless steel bars coming from it which are drilled in to the top of the seat. The bottom part of the Feetfirst seat is held in place by a piece of steel plate which is welded to the frame the seat is then Bolted to a steel plate.

This is a close-up of the top chain guide for the Feetfirst Recumbent it is held on by a bolt straight through the frame.

The bottom chain guide for my Recumbent Bicycle is held on using the same idea as the top, the chain runs smoothly through the Feetfirst using this configuration.
