Disappointment
in the LWICC camp.

West Indians Cricket Club has not had a great
start to the season losing the first league game
to Albrighton CC on Saturday the 26th of April
03.
The weather did have some bearing on the outcome
but the opposition had the same disadvantage so
there's no taking that away from them. All in
all the game was played well on both sides but
as usual there could only be one winner and unfortunately
LWICC was holding the hum dinger.

Indians C.C Recognised as one of the elites.
Lwicc has now officially joined the Western Union
Cricket Sunday League and has gained automatic
entry into the first division. There are 3 division
in this new league so it is quite an honour to
be viewed as one of the elites just by word of
mouth, hopefully the team will prove to all that
this decision was justified.

Competition
is about to boil over soon.
This year will prove quite a tough year for the
LWICC batsman and bowlers, as the competition is
already hoting up between individuals in both fields.
There is still quite a long way to go but at the
moment no one sticks out as being a clear favourite
to take either the batting or bowling crown.
The weather will play a big part to the final outcome
eventually.
