His sound is a simple mix of guitar + harmonica + voice. He sings about things that move him, that make him think. Nukli - Sometimes NUKLI are veterans of the golden age of free festivals. A time when bands were free to experiment with long flowing improvisations, developing a sound that matched the state of mind of the audience: spaced out! Mutating over the years, first into PSi NUKLI, with NUKLI eventually spinning off to follow a path that led to the landmark Time Factory release on Delerium records. The band took a sabbatical throughout most of the nineties, to work on the Hex Projekta ambient dub act. Now NUKLI are back, and sounding better than ever. With full-on psychedelic grooves, and soaring guitar .This track, an exclusive to magicatradio, has only just been recorded and can be heard nowhere else. The band have a MYSPACE SITE.

Akahum - D'Orror " AKAHUM is UNLIMBO's leaner little brother: Compact, more portable but essentially the same spirit. With a trimmed-down line-up, AKAHUM has gone back to a 'basic' drums, bass and guitar format and this takes the UNLIMBO sound down a slightly different road. Maybe we arrive at a very different place - that's for you to say." David Unlimbo is the Composer / Guitarist with AKAHUM and UNLIMBO. This track is new and exclusive to MAGICCATRADIO. Canartic - One Drop Austin's Jon Coats and Randall Peterson formed Canartic with bass player Gerard Smith in 2002, while collaborating at Peterson's Javahut Studio. Canartic utilize dub and downtempo styles as guides to collage electronic shapes around simple grooves. The results are then injected with a dose of psychedelia, courtesy of heavily processed guitar. Finally, samples round out the mix, providing listeners with hints to the ideas behind the music. Live, Canartic perform as a duo, with Coats dub mixing in real time from hard disk, and Peterson adding treatments and his processed guitar. Canartic's newest CD, "Headphone Test," (where this track can be found) is out now on the collective's own Dank Disk label. Check out their MYSPACE SITE for more details.
