The Parco (Paisley Star) Blythe was produced by Takara as a market tester to see if Blythe would sell. She did, selling out in hours! (and thats why Takara is still making them!)
Mademoiselle Rosebud Blythe originally looked like this on the promo picture:
But it was changed to this version:
...probably because the fabric that was decided on was different enough from the original version to warrant a change in the image. This is the first time that the promo picture has changed for a Blythe doll. ^_^
