Markenfield is a small kennel based in South Wales.We specialise in breeding and showing of Rough Collies. We breed and exhibit collies in all 3 colours and have bred or owned '7' dogs who have obtained their KC stud book numbers, including our foundataion bitch Steldave's Touch of Elegance at Markenfield and her homebred tri-colour daughter Markenfield's Tri Dawn 1 cc & 2 res cc's (IKC Greenstar). We also bred Mr & Mrs Malpas's blue merle dog Markenfield's Master Raffles of Lanlin (KC stud book no.) who was best dog at Midland Collie Club.

Many of his offspring are now entering the show ring here in the UK, and showing much promise. All Markenfield litters are eye screened and showing good results. We have also started a programme of Hip scoring, the first of which was a 'Blake' son Markenfield's Bardolino Boy who now resides with Marit Thuen & Eivann Fuglevick of The La Vida Collies in Norway. Adam is already producing quality stock in Norway having now sired some 10 litters. Markenfields Artic Chill a b/m bitch exported to Laila Sehlin (Poulot) in Norway is also proving herself a worthy show girl, recently wining BPIS at a collie speciality show.
