The Rutherglen branch of the McLaughlin family reunion took place in
the Braes Hotel in Cathkin on Saturday 19 May 2001. The common link was
Granda and Grandma ie Michael and Mary McLaughlin There were representatives there from 4 generations: from Aunt Molly and Uncle Gerard
down to the youngest member of the family, Naomi O'Sullivan, daughter of Jerry & Kaori O'Sullivan, granddaughter of Aunt Theresa. A great deal of preparatory work was done by Christine Barr (McLaughlin),
Maureen Brickley (McLaughlin) and Kate Duff (O'Sullivan). A comprehensive
family tree (with room for a few amendments) was distributed to all the
adults and is also available on this site. If you think you might have
any useful information, please feel free to get in touch
