ten things ...
A writer is seeking the views of carers who are also family members for research
into a book concerned with mental illness, and the diagnosed conditions of
psychosis such as 'schizophrenia'.
If you have the time I'd be really grateful if you could list,
as briefly as you can, TEN things that you personally believe,
through your experience and observations to be TRUE about
your family member's condition.
These should be the ten things you feel most strongly.
To help prompt you - as a suggestion - areas to consider might be -
cause, outlook, behaviour, 'insight' -
ie whether your family member is aware of and has insight into aspects of
his or her condition, the prospect of recovery, medications, hospitalisation,
psychiatrist's input, psychologists input, social attitudes,
effect on yourself and family.
