MINIX plastic model cars and other MINIX vehicles and accessories were manufactured by Tri-ang Rovex at their Margate, Kent, UK factory from 1964 onwards.
All of the vehicles were made to OO-scale (1/76) with the sole exception of the AEC-Strachans bus which was approximately 1/135. The reason for this exception was to enable this model to fit the "sparking plug" box in which the individual models were sold.
