James Aston
Winger - Rising Rapidly from the junior Teams - First XV Debut at Rotherham in October 2002. Prolific Try Scorer (18) in 25 starts in 2003/04. Toured Canada with England Counties in 2004. NCA Player of the month in February 2004, Moseley most improved player of the year, 2003/4, 22 appearances in 2004/5
Neil "Nellie" Bayliss
Tight-head prop - Born 28 March 1978, joined for 2004/5 from Cheltenham, where he was ever-present in 2003/4 and 2002/3 seasons. With Cheltenham since 1989 and 1st XV for 7 years. Represented Gloucestershire Colts & U21s. 18 appearances in 2004/5
Dean Bick
Hooker - former Moseley Colt returned for 2002/03. Also Midlands Colt - First XV Debut against Plymouth in January 2003. 25 Appearances in 2003/4
Andy Binns
Full-Back/Centre, Born 29th June, (1976 - Bradford) 1985-94 Bradford & Bingley - 1994-present Moseley Played for England Students, England Universties, Midlands Colts, North Midlands Colts & U21s captain, School Golf Champion. Brother Simon is a first XV regular at Otley.
Club record (league) scorer in 1998/99, Player of the year 2000/01, over 140 career appearances (123 league - record for a back). Impressive on return from injury in 2003/4 as Full Back. 26 appearances as Captain of first XV in 2004/5, Handed captaincy to Gareth Taylor for 2005/6, to ensure leaderhip from the centre, now that Andy is established so well at full back.
Ben Blackwall (*** New Signing***)
Second row - moves to Moseley from Nottingham. The 6ft 4in and 17 stone, 25 year old is a former England U19 and England Universities player. He played in 12 of last season's National One matches for Nottingham.
Alistair Bressington
Full Back - Born 1979 (November 28, Bristol) Joined Moseley in 2004/5 and made 10 appearances as full back. Brother, Nathan, also with Moseley, Professional Cricketer with Gloucester. Read more at "CricInfo"
Nathan Bressington
Wing - Born 1981, (February 7, Cheltenham) Joined From Stourbridge for 2004/5 top scorer in ND2 in 2003/4 including four tries in a victory over (then) second placed Wharfedale. Played cricket to Under 19 level and also for the full Gloucestershire 2nd XI. Brother, Alistair, also with Moseley, 27 Appearances and 16 tries in 2004/5
Chris Buck (*** New Signing***)
Back/Half Back - Born 01/03/84 - Former Moseley Colt, spent 04/05 season with Harrogate, but returned to the area for 05/06. Previous Clubs include Newcastle-under-Lyme, & Leeds Tykes. Ian Smith said: "Chris is a great capture for us, He is a quality player who has fitted in very, very well.Buck impressed in several positions at Claro Road, including fly half, inside centre and full-back. Representative Honours Staffordshire Schools U14 - U18, Midlands Schools U16, U18, England Schools U18
Ben Buxton
Front Row - Born 1979 (November 19) Edmonton, London - Captained Leicestershire at U14 U16 and U18 and made the England A U18 and U21 teams. Joined Moseley in December 2001 (1st XV debut in the excellent victory at London Welsh) following spells at Leicester Tigers and Rugby Lions. 25 appearances and in 2004/5
Adam Caves
Hooker, born 1982 (May 21) Birmingham - former Moseley colt (joined Moseley at age 12) returned from Gloucester for 2003/4, having made six first team appearances including their 35-6 victory over Exeter in the Cup. Was included in the England U19 FIRA squad for the World Youth Championships in Chile in 2001, and selected to represent England U21 in France in November 2002. 23 appearances and 6 tries in 2004/5
Simon Clarke
Prop - Midlands U18 player promoted from the Colts for 2005/6.
Ian Coles
Tight-head - promoted from Colts for 2004/5, North Midlands and Midlands player, Selected for England U16 in 2000.
Paul Coles
Prop Forward - former Moseley Colt, 11 appearances in 2002/03
Carl Colvin
Winger - Born 18th January (1981 - London) Educated at Bournville school, Played for Midlands Schools,U16 and U18, North Mids Colts and Midland Colts (Colts Championship Final, Twickenham, 1998) previously with Old Griffs. Joined Moseley in 1998, 18 appearances in 2001/2, Prolific try scorer with Dev XV in 2004/5.
Adam Conniff
Winger, Born 19th January (1981, Birmingham) formerly Old Salts and Moseley Colts, returned for 2002/3. North Midlands U18s, Midlands U18s, and England U19s representative.
Paul Cox
Centre, promoted from the Colts for 2002/03. 14 appearances and 2 tries in 2003/4. 17 appearaces and five tries in 2004/5
Jon Critchlow
Centre/Full Back - Born 30/10/83, from 2003 group of U19 Colts. Represented North Midlands U15-U20 including Twickenham final in 2003,and Midlands U20s. Studied sports coaching at Birmingham Univ. 2003/05, and now working on Moseley Community Programme.
Charlie Daniell
Flanker, Formerly with Bees and Nottingham University. 23 Appearances in both 2003/04 and 2004/5
Gareth Davies
Prop - Promoted from the colts for 2005/6. National Colts Cup finalist in 2005.
Roy Davies
Loose Head. Joined for 2004/05 from the Gloucester/Hartpury College Academy. Played at Moseley in 2003/4 while with Newbury. Played for Wales Students and in the Gloucestershire side that reached the final of the Tetley's County Championship in 2004.
Mark Evans
Back Row, Born 1979 (November 3, Crewe) - former Moseley Colt(National Cup winner 1998), Represented England at U16's and Midlands at U18's. MPA's Young Player of the Year 2001, Studied Business and Leisure management at Cardiff University. Mark combines his Moseley duties with his role as Coach of Midlands Four West club, Droitwich. 21 appearances in 2003/4. Player of the Year in 2003/4, 28 appearances in 2004/5
Jim Fallon (*** New Signing***)
Prop Forward - Joins for 2005/6 from Nuneaton, previously with Coventry and Nottingham.

Josh Frape
Utility Back Born 1980 (23 Feb) Joined from Gloucester for 2004/5 - 25 year old utility back, Can play at inside or outside centre, and also provide cover at scrum half. Was part of the first team squad at Kingsholm for three years and made a number of eye-catching appearances in the top flight. Full time with Moseley, working with the Community Programme during the week. International honours: England Students. 10 appearances before injury in 2004/5

Lock/No.8 - Former Old Halesonians and North Midlands Player promoted to the squad for 2004/5
Andy Gray
Centre/Wing Born 8th January (1974 - Birmingham)Played for Handsworth, Kynoch, and Lichfield before joining Moseley - represented West Midlands at athletics. Joint record holder - most individual tries in a match: 3 vs Waterloo in 99/00. 24 appearances and "Most Improved Player" award 2002/3.
Alex Hadley
Lock, born 14th January (1980 - Bromsgrove) played for Bromsgrove and Coventry Colts before joining Moseley. Colt of the year - 1997/8, England U19 & U21 squad and 5 caps for world junior championship in 1999. U21 player of the Year in 2000/01. 26 Appearances in 02/03, missing the start of only one league/cup game. Passed 100 first XV appearances milestone in 2003/4. Works with Moseley's Community programme, coaching 1000's of youngsters, in schools throughout Birmingham.
Steven Halbert
Flanker. Born 19.1.84 in Birmingham. One of the 2003 group of U19 colts. Represented the Midlands U20`s having worn the county jersey in the under-17,18,19 and 20 age groups. Represented Midlands Clubs and was educated at Solihull Sixth Form College, for whom he made one of his three Twickenham appearances. Made first XV debut against Manchester in April 2003. Colt of the Year winner in 2003. U21 player of the year 2003/4
David (Dai) Hallmen
Lock - joined from Cross Keys for 2004/5. Previously with Blackwood. 10 appearances in an injury hit season in 2004/5
Chris (Butch) Holder
Centre - 25years old, joined from Cheltenham for 2004/5 where he was voted player of the year and players' player of the year. Prolific try scorer in Powergen South West One. At Cheltenham since 1987!
Leroy Hughes (*** New Signing***)
Hooker - joins from Cheltenham for 2005/6

David Hunt
No.8 / Back Row, Born 1980 (January 2nd) Bromsgrove - Qualified Physiotherapist, County Representative at Tennis, Swimming and Football, Joined Moseley Colts from Bromsgrove in 1999, Midlands Colts 1998/9, (Colts County Championship runners up), Captained Midlands U20s side 1999/00, over 20 appearances in each of 2001/2 & 2002/3. "Performance of the year" award, for last SIX games of 02/03 season. 23 appearances in 2004/5

Andrew Lennon
Full Back/Wing - With Moseley mini & juniors from age 5, moving onto colts N.Mids U17's 18's and 20's. United States youth international player, debut for the United States in the IRB Youth Championship in France in spring 2003. Promoted from Colts for 2004/5
Mike Lennon
Full Back - Born 1981 (Sept 3rd)played Moseley mini and juniors from age 7 - promoted from Moseley Colts for 2004/5. Played for Greater Birmingham Schools, Midlands, and England Students.
Greg Macdonald
Fly Half - Promoted from the Youth Ranks in 2001/2. Over 50 appearances in three seasons. Over 50 points kicked in 2002/3
Neil (Wag) Mason (*** New Signing***)
Flanker - 23 year old rejoins from Worcester having played his Mini & Junior rugby with Moseley until the end of his Under17 year. Scored a try on his National 1 debut for Worcester in a 71-14 win over Otley in March 2002. He featured in half of Worcester’s promotion season campaign in 2003/04. Last season he made 3 1st XV starts with 5 matches on the bench. In Europe last season Neil made an early impression on Leonessa in the the quarter finals of the European shield scoring the opening try after just three minutes.
Gordon McFadyen (*** New Signing***)
Prop forward - 23 years old on joining Moseley for 2005/6 from Australian side Gordon. Offered a pro contract in Scotland with the Glasgow Warriors but took the opportunity to spend a year down under after a successful period with Glasgow Hawks. First outing in pre season fixture against his former club in August 2005.
Tom McIntosh
Back Row - Debut against Rugby Lions in October 2002. Winner of Diana Reed Trophy for most outstanding performance of the year after 15 appearances in 2003/4, 16 in 2004/5
Matt Mountford
Former Colts top scorer returned from Worcester in 2004 . Previously try-scorer for 1st XV in 2002. Three games and scorer in ND2 for Bracknell in 03/04
Daren O'Leary (*** New Signing***)
Centre/Wing - aged 31 on joining Moseley from Worcester for 2005/6 - has played almost exclusively in the Premiership or its equivalent in a career that has taken in Saracens, Harlequins and Gloucester and, for the past two seasons, Worcester. Won an England A cap in 1996 as well as gaining representative honours at Under 21 and junior levels. Daren is a proven try scorer and, during eight seasons at Quins, scored 65 tries and is still their leading career try scorer in League games. He was also twice the country's leading try scorer in the top-flight division of the time - in 1993/4 with 11 tries and 1995/6 with 14. At Worcester, in the 2003/4 season he scored 19 tries in 26 appearances in National One, and played for them in the Premiership in 2004/5.

James Rodwell
Back Row - London and South East schools 18 player Midlands U20 and Birmingham University player, - has captained N Mids U20s, promoted to squad for 2004/5 gained International honours with English Universities in 2005, club's Under 21 player of the season after scoring 17 tries in 17 games from Number 8, for the 2nd XV.
Ben Rowland-Jones
Scrum Half - Promoted from the Colts for 2004/5, Captained Moseley Colts in 2003, Played for Mids 20, North Mids 19/20s, Southwest Schools and Gloucester Schools. Has played hockey for Gloucester and West of England, and attended England Camp. Also Bristol Schools 18s 100m sprint champion. Currently Studying Biochemistry at Birmingham University.
Rob Sigley (*** New Signing***)
Prop Forward born 1976 (October 26, Sutton Coldfield)- former Moseley favourite re-joined on loan from Bees in September 2003, and now re-signed for 2005/6. Originally joined Moseley in 1998 after time with Tamworth, Leicester and Walsall. Brother of Gloucester and former Moseley prop, Terry.
Tom Skelding (*** New Signing***)
Gloucester Academy lock Tom Skelding, described by John Beale as a very abrasive player who hits rucks and mauls very hard,� joins for 2005/6. He has has been playing Zurich 'a' matches and played for England Students last season. Try scorer on his pre-season debut against Nottingham.
Rhyddian Smith
Prop - promoted to the squad for 2005/6. National Colts Cup finalist in 2005.
Nick Southern
Back Row - Joined From Gloucester for 2004/5 - highly-rated number eight is comfortable playing anywhere across the back row, A former Gloucester Colt, has represented England at U18, U19 and students. Spent most of 2003/4 season on loan at Otley. Has been described as "versatile, physical and hungry for action". 26 appearances in 2004/5
Alex Stojka
Scrum Half - joins the squad for 2005/6.
Richard Stott
Back Row, Born 1 September (1978 - Gloucester) Played for South West and Gloucestershire at U16,U18, U19, & U21 levels. Played for Gloucester, and New Zealand side Pukekome(1997). 8 appearances with Gloucester 1st XV C & G Cupwinner 1999, Made 1st XV debut on joining Moseley in 2000/01 and went on to make 18 appearances that season and 23 in 2001/02 earning a player of the season award. Returned in Feb 2003 after time with Coventry. 27 appearances in 2004/5
Gareth Taylor (Captain)
Scrum Half - Joined Moseley for 2003/04 after some excellent performances (and 2 tries) during a loan spell in 2002/03. Previously with Bees and Nottingham. Ever-present with 27 appearances in 2003/4, 28 in 2004/5! Takes over as Captain for 2005/6
Oliver Thomas
Fly Half - rising rapidly from the junior teams, 12 appearances during debut season in 2002/3. Under 21 player of the season Award in 2003. 18 appearances and 151 points in 2003/4, 26 and a e record breaking 341 points scored in 2004/5. Toured Argentina with England Counties XV in summer 2005.
Alex Ward
Full Back/Wing, Moseley academy captain, North Midlands 16s,17s,18s,19s and 20s and Birmingham University player, promoted for 2004/5
Joe Warren
Hooker - Promoted from the colts for 2005/6. National Colts Cup finalist in 2005.
Tom Warren
Born 22 October, (1980 - Birmingham) Educated at Alcester Grammar School, Former Moseley Mini, Junior and Youth player returned for 2002/3 after 18 months with Worcester. England U18s and Midland U18 & Colts. Made 27 prior appearances for Moseley first XV. Father Dave Warren captained the first XV in the late 1970's and now leads the new Moseley Rugby company. Fought back after injuries permitted less than 5 full games worth in 3 seasons, and less than five minutes of 2004/5! Awarded NCA Player of the month in January 2005
