Why do we need a new playground? What happened to the old playground? How much will this cost? Who will pay for it? |

| The Sports Field Committee raised initial funds from within the community. When applying for aid (Government grants etc.) it is important to have proof of a commitment towards the proposed project. The best way to show a body is genuine about getting work done is to have money on hand - preferably money raised by the community - which clearly illustrates the project is thought necessary by the local people. The Sports Field Committee will be working with Moylough 79 Soccer Club and the other clubs, societies and committees in the area as well as the local schools to heighten the awareness, especially among parents, of the current project. The Sports Field Committee has opened a Bank account in Mountbellew Bank of Ireland - the Account no. is 31474911 , we also have a Credit Union account with the Moylough Branch and the Account no. there is 1747 . Donations can be made over the counter at either branch and we thank you in advance for any donations. Our area has long had a reputation for generosity & our community has not been found wanting when it came to the needs of our children. | |
