Why do we need a new playground? What happened to the old playground? How much will this cost? Who will pay for it? |

Click on the blue links above for more info. The Sports Field Committee and The Moylough 79 Soccer Club organised a social which was held in The Forge on Saturday August 5th 2001. On the evening we distributed a souvenir program with a list of all the sponsors from the area, businesses and individuals, who have believed enough in our project to hand over their hard-earned for the future of our children. We would like to thank everyone involved and we are proud to say that we raised over £4000 which gave us the basis to apply for further funding from local organizations such as the Moylough & Districts Development Committee and governmental bodies. To date we have raised over EUR40,000 and are attempting to get an insurer to cover our playground. This is proving difficult even though our playground will be state-of-the-art and of the highest safety standard.
