What a night it could have been. A certain semi-final place for CL was lost within our own destiny. Our heroes played their hearts out but as Houllier rightly said so "What can you do? That's football!". After 18 years lapse from Champions League (European Cup) football to be in the last eight is a great achievement.
We get 'em next season. We lost to a better team on the night but if Owen had taken his chances it might be a different story. He'll bounce back!!!
Now, EPL is the last hurrah to cap a turbulence but yet a memorable season. With CL out of the way, we have the best chances of making amends and win the league. The fans will settle for that. It's good to see Babbel back in training. Life is bigger than football...We'll be back!!!...Walk On...
