Sally's WestWing Fan Fiction

Hi! My fan fiction addiction continues with a new obsession The West Wing. For those of you who know me from my Stargate: SG-1 days, you'll recognise my other obsession SHIP! And West Wing has two wonderful characters to 'ship over, namely Josh Lyman and Donna Moss. If you're not a fan of 'ship, you have been warned...

Having said that, I do try to write my stories in a way that is true to the characters we see on TV. And the rest of the characters in the show also play a part in my stories.

Big thanks to Linz for the great banner — and for introducing me to Josh and Donna in the first place!

Thanks for taking the time to read my stories, and I hope you enjoy them.

Unspoken

After an eternity Josh broke her gaze and looked down at the newspaper in his hand. Donna forced herself to watch, so she saw the fleeting look of shock pass over his face, saw the hurt that came in its wake and didn’t leave. She saw the way he turned away from the newspaper, the way he forced himself not to react. “This is…” The words came on the crest of a humorless laugh. “You couldn’t have told me about this before the papers?” Rating: Older Teen (Feb '07)

A Truly Excellent Notion

"Donna was his life. This, here and now, was his life. And suddenly he knew that if he didn't seize it, right then, the sand would run so fast through his fingers that next time he paid attention his hands would be empty." A post-ep for the S7 episode Transition. Rating: Older Teen (May '06)

Time Of Our Lives

"This is your time, Josh. This is what you were meant to do. You can't walk away from it. You won't walk away from it. Leo wouldn't have let you, and neither will I." Post-ep for the S7 episode Requiem. Rating: Teen (April '06)

The Road Less Travelled

"You always had a smart mouth, Donna. I've never seen you use it to hurt someone before." This is set toward the end of S6, from which point it veers drastically off-canon... Rating: Teen (March. '06)

All We Are

"You think I don't see it? You think I didn't see it the day she left and you were so crazy you jumped on the first flight to Houston because you couldn't stand to be here without her?" A non-canon post-ep for the season seven episode The Wedding. (Feb. '06) Rating: Mature(ish)

Out Here Alone

"Donna, the last time Josh threw a punch it was through a window in his apartment." A non-canon post-ep for the season six episode Drought Conditions. (Jan. '06) Rating: Mature

What Must Not Be Said

A disasterous road trip causes Josh to reassess his relationships with both Amy and Donna. Set right after season 3, from which point it veers totally off-canon. (Jan '06) Rating: Mature
