About The Club


Our club is run by 3 expert black belt instructors with over twenty years of experience. Kevin Roberts 4th dan, Shaun Walsh 2nd dan and Michelle Creese 1st dan. We train in the style of Shotokan Karate.


There are over forty current members ranging from white belts to black belts. There is an early class for children, followed by a beginner to intermediate class for adults, and a late class for advanced training.


We have members from all walks of life and all ages and you do not need to be especially fit in order to take up karate. However it will be invaluable in helping to develop and maintain good cardio-vascular fitness.


Karate helps to develop flexibility, confidence, balance and self defense, and is a great way to meet people from around the local area. We arrange regular club nights out and all classes are taught in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
