The Garden of the Groves was named after the founder of Freeport, Wallace Groves. This botanical paradise contains about 10,000 varieties of Bahamian flora.The garden is divided into different sections including a rose garden and hibiscus garden, and plenty of fountains, waterfalls and streams. Twelve acres of beauty unsurpassed in all of Grand Bahama, cascading waterfalls, scenic trails and a replica of the chapel that was built in Grand Bahama - all in the lush relaxing setting of a botanical gardens.

Meet the friendly Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, enjoy an interesting talk by the animal care staff and participate in one of several exciting programmes. During the dolphin close encounter, participants interact with the dolphins while standing in the water on a shallow wading platform. The swim with dolphins programme allows visitors to swim with the dolphins in a protected lagoon. The dive with dolphins programme is a scuba diving session with the dolphins in the open ocean along a beautiful natural coral reef.
