Old Carthouse, Lawrenny, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

The house is in a little village called Lawrenny, in the Pembrokeshire Coast National

The village is on the Milford Haven Estuary. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the house to the Estuary and there are good walks from the house to the top of the hill and around the headland. Further afield there are great walks and amazing beaches on the coast in all directions, as well as the Preseli Hills to the north and the Brecon Beacons to the east.

The area is well known for its sailing, rock climbing and walking opportunities – with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path being one of the best coastal walks in the country.

There are also some wonderful deserted beaches, as well as castles, Cathedrals and stone circles to visit.

The house was completely derelict a few years ago, but dates back about 200 years, and used to be the Carthouse for the farm in the village.

The house is two storey, on the ground floor there is a hallway, toilet and shower, as well as a large open plan living area. Upstairs is one double bedroom and a large ‘dorm’ room.
