MAP of our journey |
All the photos
of our journey to be found here.
24 Oct 02 Mileage: 10,000 miles(approx.) Well, our trip is now over (as of March 27). We crossed 20 countries, covered 10,000 miles, ate 32,453kg of pasta and not one lady accosted. There's many more statistics on our stats page (see below). You can read Dunc & Ro's web diaries (links on the left) and peruse Mark's photo collection. But wait! This isn't the end of the story for Clara! Her adventures continue with the band Jonny Berliner. We're told Clara caused a storm and much press attention at the Edinburgh Fringe festival then dropped her drive shaft on the M6 on the way home. She's got lots of gigs in the UK and will be off on tour in Europe in the spring. We're starting to ask whether she'll remember us when she's famous... How did it all start? Here's the Animated Old Red Bus - Episode 1 NEW! List of everywhere we've beenAs you can see we have had the party which was a real messy hum-dinger of an affair. 7 crates of the finest duty free lager and all the wine was drunk by you naughty naughty people. We are looking now for some cool people to carry on Clara's adventures around the world. If you are interested in taking over the fair maiden then feel free to contact us (via email or phone) or look outside the Careers Office on Leed's Uni campus. Our guestbook is waiting for your comments! Click on the link on the left. Individual diary entries: click on the photos on the left. |

In 1978 a crack monkey unit was sent to a maximum higher educational stockade for a crime they did't commit,
These men promptly escaped to the European pikey underground to survive as busdrivers of fortune,
If you have a problem and no-one else can help and if you can find them, maybe you can hire,
The Oldredbus Team. Taaa Taaa Taa Daa Daa Daa!!! The StoryFour (two freshly and two not so fresh) graduated Leeds students decided that driving a double decker to Thailand would be a bit of a giggle. After a few months looking about we found the true one, Clara or more precisely she found us. A 25 year old single decker school bus, six and a half tonnes of pure busdriver loving( a Bedford PJK for the geeks). The previous owner a burnt out rockstar turned plumber, assured it was a 100 percent mechanically sound . Needing no more encouragement we bought the beast and took it to Wigan and Liverpool for the refit which had already been started though not completed by aforementioned rocker. Now kitted out with two bunkbeds, one doublebed, dining room, kitchen and lounge(needs to be seen to be believed) and after a raucous party in Leeds the intrepid four set off around Europe. This webpage should give you an insight into our story a six month journey , 19 countries, 10,000 miles and plenty of amazing experiences and sights. To find out more click on the links to photos, diaries etc.. Enjoy!

| Titeuf! Le monde de Titeuf. That crazy mc character we know nothing about. |
??'There you are!' cried the Toad, straddling and expanding himself. 'There's real life for you, embodied in that little cart. The open road, the dusty highway, the heath, the common, the hedgerows, the rolling downs! Camps, villages, towns, cities! Here to-day, up and off to somewhere else to-morrow! Travel, change, interest, excitement! The whole world charging before you, and a horizon that's always changing! And mind, this is the very finest cart of its sort that was ever built, without any exception. Come inside and look at the arrangements. Planned 'em all myself, I did!'
