A more comprehensive site with building details and future developments is coming soon. This is the first website I've made, so don't laugh too much.
Parts of it date to the 14th century. The tower in the front is Victorian and has stained glass by the famous William Morris.

Gothic glory and Florentine elegance and all in the same building! The white building in the right of the second picture is Provincial House and is due for demolition on 1st semptember!

Built on the site of the former Exchange Train Station. One of a handful of modern buildings in Bradford that doesn't resemble a concrete box and looks the better for it.

Built in 1997 and soon to have an arts centre built on the right. The Alhambra Theatre, National Museum of Film, Photography and Television and Odeon Cinema can be seen in the background. That glass building houses the overworked Bradford coppers.

Glorious Gothic revival. An amazing building that can't be appreciated in a photograph. Has a great pub in the cellar too.

Another Hall, this one built in the 18th Century and has most of the original interiors and furniture.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the first planned industrial towns.

I've got no idea what goes on here, but having been to a Sihk wedding reception I bet they've got a great bar.

Great concert hall this. I've seen Jack Dee and Fear Factory and loads of other stuff here. The Concrete block in the distance is also going in early 2003 to make way for the 16 acre Broadway development.

This was turned into a museum of modern faith that died a death along with countless other Millennium projects. Has sat unused for nearly a year.

This street greats you as you enter Little Germany and it will soon be pedestrianised. The concrete box (known as the banana) on the far right is going to make way for the Broadway Shopping Centre and a big new public square. Should look fantastic when it opens..

Nice Bar. Shame they built the Crown Court opposite though, I imagine waking up to a square full of scallies and lawyers puts people of returning.

Through the glass you can watch the local rag being made. Interesting to watch and kills half an hour.

A mock German castle in the middle of Bradford! Why it was built is anyone's guess.

Sadly gutted by fire recently and now only the facade remains. Anyone with suggestions as to how this building could be reused please tell me.

Now a art gallery in the middle of that "horrible" Manningham district. The surrounding park has just been given a make over.

a recently redeveloped Victorian warehouse

When built it was one of the largest screens outside London and is still one of the best surviving 1930's cinemas about. It Closed in 2001 when the new Leisure Exchange there are plans to turn into a night club

Did I mention Bradford was built in a big Valley? The edge of the city is some 900 ft above the centre. You could stick 1 Canada Square here and look down at it from the suburbs. I think Bradford could give San Fransisco a run for its money, or at the very least Sheffield! All we need is some trams and the race is on.
