Snowdonia a filming location for POA?

some of Harry Potter's magic could be coming to North Wales.The Daily Post has discovered that location manager for the new block-buster The Prisoner of Azkaban has spent a week in Snowdonia to check on possible set venues.The movie reunites Daniel Radcliffe as Harry, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger while Richard Harris plays Albus Dumbledore. It also introduces new characters from Hogwarts School.Jayne Wainwright, of the Tyn-y-Coed Hotel, Capel Curig, which has played host to many of the Tomb Raider 2 production team currently in North Wales said they had talked freely in the bar about returning to Snowdonia in January to work on the film adaptation of JK Rowling's third best-selling book.Last night, a Warner Brothers spokesman refused to confirm or deny the Snowdonia location.

"Harry Potter 4" casting?

While everybody is still wondering who will direct "Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban", News of the World is reporting that casting decisions are being made for "Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire," the fourth book in the series.The news service reports that Jack Ryder, who is the UK TV show "EastEnders," is up for the role of Cedric Diggory, who appears in the other books but has more prominence in the fourth "Harry Potter" book by J.K. Rowling."Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets," the second film based on the second book, will be released this November. Warner Bros. is currently prepping pre-production on the third film to be released in 2003..

'Potter star dubs sequel "wonderful"

One of the stars of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets thinks that the big screen sequel is "wonderful."
Chris Rankin, who plays Ron Weasley's older brother, Percy, was talking to BBC's Newsround programme when he was asked about the sequel to last year's smash hit flick, Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone. "I've seen the Chamber Of Secrets - and without spoiling any of the magic, it's wonderful and it's going to be a really, really, really good film," Chris opined.The movie, which once again stars Daniel Radcliffe as the boy wizard, is due to open across the UK this November

Azkaban cast search has begun

The search has begun for the stars of the third Harry Potter film.
London-based casting director Karen Lindsay-Stewart is about to start auditions to fill 13 roles in Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
Among the parts she's recruiting for are the mysterious Sirius Black, influential Hogwarts teacher Remus Lupin and Lord Voldemort's sidekick, Peter 'Wormtail' Pettigrew.
Early rumours have suggested that Ewan McGregor may be in line to play Lupin, while former Soldier Soldier star Robson Green has been tipped to star as Black.
The second film to be based on JK Rowling's books, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, is due out in November
